School Weekly Newsletter - 15th June, 2001

   On Thursday 24th May the football team went to Wales for the return match against Penyrenglyn Primary School in Wales.
    On our trip to Wales we visited the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff, it was an exciting experience for the team.  We were given a guided tour of the stadium where we visited the shower rooms and lockers.  There were cut outs of the Welsh Rugby Team players, they all seemed like giants!  Then we took a tour around the stands, it was spectacular.  We walked up the steep stairs to the top of the stadium and had to lean over, it was an awesome sight.
     Then had time to eat our lunch before we left for the game.

    The A Team lost 3 - 0
    The B Team lost 6 - 0
    The C Team lost 3 - 0

    After the game we went to the school for some food and awarded them with medals.  Although we lost our games, we really enjoyed our Welsh day out.
